Duties & Customs Information
At Ventura, we ship all orders from our main warehouse in New Zealand. If you're ordering from the UK or Europe, please read the following information carefully before placing your order.
International Orders & Customs
All products are shipped Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU). This means that:
- You are responsible for any import duties, customs fees, VAT, or taxes that may be charged when your order arrives in your country.
- These charges are not included in your order total or shipping cost at checkout.
How Duties & VAT Work
Depending on your country’s regulations, customs may apply:
- Import VAT based on your local rate (e.g. 20% in many EU countries)
- Customs duties, particularly for high-value items or certain categories
- Handling fees by the courier or customs agency
These are typically payable before delivery and must be settled by the recipient in order for the goods to be released.
We Cannot Mark Orders as Gifts or Lower Their Value
Please note that we are legally required to declare the full value of goods on all customs documentation. We cannot mark your order as a “gift” or alter the value.
